Genesis Theme Framework: This video clarifies a finer detail about custom sidebars that  was not mentioned in earlier videos in that a post does not inherit the sidebar defined at the category level. When writing a post you have to assign the sidebar of choice to it otherwise it will use the default sidebars.
This video also demonstrates how to use featured image with the Genesis Theme framework. Word Press 3.x introduced  the concept of featured image and with the Genesis Theme framework the featured image is displayed when you use the Genesis Featured Post or Page widget in a sidebar.
